Rules of Engagement... Fun is the priority. Kayaking and canoeing is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature. Many people are joining this group and do not have their own equipment. There will be one event scheduled each month starting in May to September where renting equipment will be offered. Members are encouraged to post their own trips on the message board and invite others to meet up and join in the fun. The Aquatic Explorers Scuba Club is dedicated to promoting and protecting the sport of scuba diving. It provides members with a network of recreational and professional divers to share experiences, learn from, and dive with. The scuba club was first Incorporated June 21, 1957 as the Empire State Rescue Squad and began teaching Scuba in 1958. Meet other local paddlers to talk about kayaking, local rivers and creeks, and to plan flatwater trips. Kayaking beginners are welcome! Informal instruction provided, just ask.
